Locations showcase

Villa Bombrini, which hosts the Genova-Liguria Film Commission Headquarters , is full of sets right now, commercials, tv shows, short films made by young directors and feature films. It may be the fascinating '700 decor, the beautiful garden or the charm of the hidden corners, just like the attic that we introduce in this showcase; where the tv crime show "Storie Maledette" is filming; that are attracting several production teams. To book this location you can contact Genova-Liguria Film Commission.

Our special projects

MAIA Workshops is an advanced training programme for emerging European producers providing them with the fundamental skills needed to steer a fiction or documentary project through the different phases of development, production and distribution in a rapidly changing environment. Particular attention is paid to new and innovative ways of making and marketing European films with low budgets. MAIA is structured in three independent five-day residential workshops. Each one offers a tight combination of case-studies, theoretical lessons and practical exercises, specific work on participants' projects and one-to-one meetings with tutors and trainers. And of course, great networking opportunities. You can attend one, two or all three workshops, with or without a project in development, depending on your specific needs. Each workshop is open to 20 participants and the working language is English.

Maia Workshops 2012 is promoted by Genova-Liguria Film Commission.
